TAIPEI Day 2: Xi Men Ding+Songshan Cultural&Creative Park+Shi Lin Night Market

Day 2: 西门町+松山文化创意园区+士林夜市

The next day, we went to buy Yoyo card (悠游卡）at 7-11 which work the same as Touch N Go in Malaysia but way much better than that. We then started our plan to have our breakfast at 7-11 which is very convenient and it has lot of choices for any of the meal you might think of different from 7-11 in Msia.

After breakfast, we straight away went to purchase phone card as we need to meet meet our friend in TAIWAN. we were recommended to buy from Zhong Hua Tel-communication (中华电信), due to better line and services. Ps: the shop working hours start at 10.30am@Taipei Main Station.
We opted to use the internet services only with no call options allowed, this costed cost us NT 300 for a 5 days period.

Once we were done, we then proceed our journey and Xi Men Ding (西门町) was our destination (young generation favorite place in Taiwan) There were a lot of shops for shoes, clothes, bags, accessories and etc in Xi Men Ding but we didn't manage to roam to every shop there.I bought a pair of shoes which costed me NT200 (around RM20++) and the quality to be true is good. I used the shoes for rest of the entire trip there and even when I am back from my trip. Products made in Taiwan are not bad and worth it! :)

We then went for Ah Zong Mian Xian (阿宗面线)@Wan Hua Road!! Deng Deng Deng Deng very nice!!! It is a must to try if you go to Xi Men Ding!(y) lots of people Q up and standing to eat which you can see from the photos :D

             

               

After that we met up with friend from Taiwan - he brought us to Songshan Cultural & Creative Park (松山文化创意园区) by bus around 45 min journey. It is located nearby SYS Memorial hall. We walked around, and i like their concept of "re-renovate the old building and add on some new new things" to attract tourist.

                This is the steamboat restaurant recommended by our friend @nearby Shi Lin MRT Station, enjoy our dinner here :)

This is mixed steamboat that we ordered, OMG, the spicy steamboat 麻辣锅 is really spicy!!! Luckily we ordered herbal soup otherwise no way we will be able to enjoy it ..:S but the food is really nice and fresh. Highly recommended for those who wanted to try steamboat and can eat spicy.

Next, we roamed around Shi Lin Night Market, this is the place for people to have some unique and nice Taiwan snacks. Practically, we could have just got our dinner here but we opted for the steamboat as we were so craving for it at that point of time. Shi Lin Night Market has lots of food and variety goods to shop.
